From the depth of our hearts, and on behalf of my family and Operation Nehemiah Missions, Hannah and I want to thank you for your prayers, financial support and co-laboring with us in the Great Commission. It has been a month since my son Nechemyah and I have returned from Operation Nehemiah’s Mission trip to the South Sudan. We arrived home with enough time to see Hannah through the final stages of her pregnancy. On March 10, 2011, Yerushah Anna Katherine Levi finally arrived.
She was delivered yesterday at 9:53 AM weighing 8.4 lb and measuring 20.5 inches in length by C- section. She is very wiry and healthy. The mother and the child are doing very well, even though Hannah is still recovering from C-section. The children are thrilled and blessed to finally meet their long awaited sister sitting in their laps and resting in their arms. As parents we are grateful to God for giving us another blessing and a new life in Yerushah to be raised according to His words in the Scritpure. As parents, children are constant reminder of what we are before God. Their presence silently remind us of Jesus’ teaching in the book of Matthew 18: 1-2 about
the Greatness of the Kingdom of Heaven. “At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. ” As I read this passage to Yerushah which is part of what I do for every newly child born into the family. She opened her eyes and look straight at me like as if she heard it and said, ” thank you Papa.”
